First, I want to say this LJ is for the purposes of HP fandom.  My real life is more for MySPACE, though as this grows I will certainly talk about my normal life as well.  I will post stories I have written ... I write het, femmeslash, and regular slash too ... There's nothing better than Harry/Draco as far as I'm concerned.
I'm sad it's over ... I don't see myself ever beocming so obsessed with a series ever again.  I mean, honestly, what else could grasp me so perfectly so? The assortment of characters, specifically my favorities, the personalities, the scenes, the plot, it never becoming boring, the theme .... Just it all together.  It's over.
It doesn't help that the epilogue was awful.  I guess I'll always see them as the teenagers full of adventures or what not ... I think it was just too much of a jump for the readers.  We were all hoping for the epilogue explaining everything .... The one she hyped up.
The story ended up wonderful ... Nothing's perfect, but it was my favorite book of the series.  I'm so sad to let Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Draco, Hagrid, Luna and all of them go ... But then again, if it had gone on too long, it would have burnt out.
We still have fan fiction, though.  I can always reread the Draco Trilogy, which I'm doing now.  And Cassandra Claire is one of the few people who can actually ALMOST be on the same level as JKR ... City of Bones is amazing.
